From Istanbul stages to Hamburg shadows — ERKMEN returns with a cathartic modern metal confession. IN WAX & WIRE marks the second single from ERKMEN’s upcoming album HEAVY HEARTS CLUB — a record shaped by relocation, reinvention, and raw emotional weight. His music combines R&B phrasing, glitchy alt-pop textures, and emotionally scarred lyricism with post-metal power. Before launching this solo project, ERKMEN was part of Istanbul’s alternative scene, performing at festivals and sharing stages with international acts. Now based in Hamburg, he continues to perform live — currently with his other band — and has the network to assemble a live lineup when needed. With years of experience in professional studio work, all production, mix, and mastering are done by him. The album is complete, self-funded, and ready.

Though rooted in modern metal and post-hardcore, ERKMEN’s work draws influence from beyond the expected — careful listeners may catch echoes of French electro acts like Paradis, Japanese 80s city pop, or even genre-fluid giants like Bring Me the Horizon.
